that a two lane bowling alley was built in 1947 on the ground floor of the West Wing of the White House as a birthday present for President Truman?
The lanes were later moved from the White House to the Old Executive Office Building in 1955.

I love bowling, my arm just gets tired. Are those guys really in wheel chairs?
I do believe so, I'm not sure of the context the photo was taken, but I think I read somewhere Truman wasn't a fan of the present.
