I'm working on my 1st Feature -

I am a lowly PA/Intern/Volunteer. We will see what fun it has in store over the next four weeks.

Searching now for music composer as the BGO is on hiatus.

And there is a technical issue I'm still working on. (Basically, if I showed it to you as it is... a few scenes would jitter uncontrollably across the screen.) No one wants to see that. Not even me.

*cue flash back*

INT. EDITING LAB - NIGHT

Nat sits in front of an array of monitors. Her fingers strike the keyboard. The monitors glow with an array of pink bowling shirts and then...

                         NAT
                   MY EYES!!!

Screaming she covers her eyes and collapses to the dingy gray carpeted floor.

*end flashback*

I barely survived.

Anyway - shooting for a mid-July screening on campus for you folks.
Tentatively Friday, July 17th in the evening.

A cut is done!

Not the final cut. The musical score needs to be worked on, add/change some sound fx and some fine tuning.

SOOOOOoooo... the biggest question on your minds now is "when can we see it?"

Good question. I'm taking care of a little thing called "graduation" this week and then will be back in the lab working on it, but I'll be working on getting a private screening for everyone before June.

Good news Brian said "I really want this in the show."

Update:

Bowler Brawl: is more than half way there, just need to work it out in my head how to structure the close up shots of the fight. The verbal fight is complete and ready for the final sound mix. It's just the physical chaos I'm trying to get my head around.


I would keep going tonight but I doubt I could get much more done. I have all the clips I want to use isolated. I just can't think anymore. So I'm heading home to sleep and will be at it again tomorrow night for a bit.

PS - if I get the cut finished it will have a temp music track with pop music as I want to get it in the show and don't want to delay you all seeing it anymore than I have to. I can spend time after graduation working on a new sound track for it.

• Opening: still planning out how this one should work - laying down the audio first then the images



• combined these clips together into a movement:
  
  
  
  • Date Night Prep: has been trimmed down - want to tweak it a bit - but otherwise I'm happy with it
  
  
  • Stooge Soup: need to move a few things around to make the emphasis of the moment the proposal of Walt to Laura and needs to move a bit faster
  
  
  • Choke -n- Croak: need to clean up and tweak the audio - Walt & Laura sound like they are whispering right now. Need to amp them up a bit.
